THE ASTRODOME
HOUSTON, TEXAS
OCTOBER 9TH, 2000
**Johnny Storm's plane had already arrived, and Storm now was walking along a path way from the parking lot of The Astrodome in Houston, Texas. He makes his way towards the back enterance from the visitor's parking lot. He did'nt know why he parked there when he had VIP status to park on the inside lot, but for some reason he felt that the walk would be pleasureable through the garden. His mind wanders to the big picture. Chris Damm...Gladiator Champion. That was what occupied Storm's mind the most in this buisness, but for the time being he would put that aside. He would put aside for in two complete days he would be faceing his friend, his pupil....Sebastian Bock. Yet there were other things brewing upon the horizen. Trace VanReardon was obviously taken with the idea that Storm, Damm, or Bock was responiable for the attack on Stephanie Connor although Storm had denied his inolvement several times. He had also addressed Trace several times with certain tid bits of "bring it on" analogys. Storm finally reaches the doors leading to one of the service enterances, and Storm makes his way inside. A few of the interviewers try to get his attention but he walks calmly away from them, and finds where his designated dressing room is. He drops his bag upon the couch, and sits down flipping on the TV to see what's on. There are two things of remote interest.....GWA TV...and Dukes of Hazard. Damn rednecks, Storm thinks to himself as the theme song from the old TV show begins playing. He switches the channel in discust and watches GWA TV untill he finally gets sick of hearing the same bullshit out of the same men for the umpteenth time. God forbid they actually tried to change their f*cking out look for five seconds. Matter of fact the GWA roster was starting to sound like a pathetic flop like Vanilla Ice! Storm turns the TV off, and turns back over to the mirror. He steps over and he looks at his nose. It was healing nicely, but would still be awhile before getting back to normal. At this rate Storm would need protective gear for every part of his body. Storm looks down into his duffle bag, and pulls out a wierd looking mask, and holds it up to his face. The doctor had warned him not to wrestle at all, but of coarse Storm could'nt live with that...so he was perscribed this facial protector to keep from doing further damage to already brittle parts. Storm throws it back down into his bag, and turns from the mirror. He thinks to himself about all the things he had done in the past week. He attacked Chris Carpenter in a viscous display of what the Methods of Violence are all about. Griff Truxell made his official presence on the GWA roster, and he watched on as two of his products went forth and captured gold. Storm then went on to strike one of those products, in an attempt to get the upper hand. Doing what he does best....takeing advantage of an already bad situation. So Fury did accomplish what he wanted. The two Superstars were now at war, and it seemed that they were now going to kill each other on Wendsday. All things considered this card was the biggest test for the MOV to prove that they were the better men in this Federation. Every single one of the MOV were involved in a match at this card, and now was the time to prove why they were the best. More importantly, it was time to show Sebastian Bock why Storm was the best. There was a reason that Bock was hand chosen by Storm, and that was because he had what it took...just was'nt using it. Now was the time to remind Bock who he has been addressing this past week. He was treating Storm as if he was some God Damn rookie, and the truth was going to be spelled out in Sebastian Bock's blood. Now was the time for Johnny Storm to bring himself home some gold, rather than push the Superstars in under him towards the light. It was time for Johnny Storm to become a Champion. The door to his locker room suddenly opens, and the thoughts drift away as he returns to the here and now. He quickly turns to see Ross Bobby standing in the door way. Ross enters the room, and slams the door. There is no cameraman...just Ross. He looks to Storm who sits down as if tired of the questions that have been asked as of late.**
Ross: Come on Storm! Don't act like that....give me something...I need a cover piece for the GWA Magazine, and I thought maybe you'ld be interested. These questions don't directly involve Sebastian Bock..yet you can make comments about him if you wish!
Johnny Storm: (sighing) OK..OK! Just make it quick...(leans back into his chair, as Ross pulls out a tape recorder)
Ross: (holding the recorder to his lips) October 9TH, 2000....Interview for GWA Magazine with "Mr. Fantastic" Johnny Storm.... NOW...Mr. Storm, I have to say it's an honor to be here in your presence considering your epic battles as of late with Gladiator Champion Chris Damm. Matter of fact, you and he were the only competitors to make it out of that cage, and turned the match into a one on one contest.......Do you have any regrets about that match? Any comments on the turn of events?
Johnny Storm: Regrets? (Storm laughs lightly) I regret that I did'nt win...(lets out another laugh, and then returns to his thoughts) But as far as things go.....The better man won on this occasion. The thing that makes Damm and I different is that I realize that at any time a man can win the hand of victory, or lose everything he ever had in his hand. Damm believe he is the only force here in the GWA, and that he is never going to be derailed from his perverbial locomotive of success. Yet I sit here, and I agree that he is a great competitor, but he is not omnipitant, nor am I. All men have their day...
Ross: Does that rule also apply to Sebastian Bock, who you face this Wendsday?
Johnny Storm: (smirkingly) The rule applys to all men, but unfortunately Sebastian Bock is out classed to the fullest degree, and I can almost guarantee that this is one loss in his record that he will never forget. I'm doing this as a personal mission to dismantle him just this once, to prove a point to his thick headedness. To prove what I've been saying all along.
Ross: Very well. Now off of the subject of that, what compeled you to form the Methods of Violence, and I heard a rumor about this group. They actually started takeing shape in the Survival Wrestling Association, with you and Griff Truxell. Is it true that Steven Fury was once considered for membership back when he was an active wrestler?
Johnny Storm: Well actually that is partially correct. In the former SWA I agreed to help Griff out of some legal trouble for his services. As it went own, we actually went from buisness associates to close allies. We started to show signs of forming a stable, which in fact was going to be named the Methods of Violence, however the Federation stumbled into financial trouble and shut down before we instigate the group. Was Steven Fury considered.....well this will shock a few people, but yes we had approached Steven for membership, but as I said the fed shut down. That's how me and Steven became friends in the first place. Our negotiations in the SWA, however when the fed shut down I went on to take care of my company, and he went to the GWA. That's when I recieved the call from him, and he got me instated into the GWA.
Ross: You say you guys were friends? What is the stature of your relationship now?
Johnny Storm: Well I would say we are still friends. He's been on the recieving end of my attacks, and I have been at the end of the rope on one of his attacks. To tell you the truth during our little fued it did'nt seem to bother me as much as it did him. As far as buisness goes Steven Fury will always be at each others throats. Thats where society wants to see us. After the show, and it's time to go home till the next show.....Hell me and Fury could go out for drinks at the bar for all I care. That's really up to him, and how he feels about the situation. So I can't answer that questions properly, everyone feels differently.
Ross: Well while we are on the subject of Fury, what do you think of his relationship with Mary Jane Francis?
Johnny Storm: Well I think I've made that obvious. She isn't right for Steven, but that's his choice, and it's up to him the way he lives his life. If he's happy I'm glad for him, yet I can't always agree with him. MJ Francis has made quite a laundry list of enemies, and if Fury does'nt open his eyes, he's going to be caught in the cross hairs of a bullet meant for her. And believe me, if it was down to her and him, then she would gladly push him in the path of the bullet. I don't even want to get into the point of her takeing control of this company with his blessings. That is a sign of weakness as far as I'm concerned. Fury continues to show his love for MJ Francis, but at any point she does'nt get her way she turns on the Bitch Mode, shuts off the pussy, and before you know it Fury hands her exactly what she wants. Well I got simple words for MJ Francis....FIRE ME B!TCH! Cause I don't give a sh!t about her. The only thing that makes her worth anything is Steven Fury, and my respect for him. Sadly enough though, she seems to have his numbers pegged, and can pull the stings upon him like a puppet. So whatever you want to gather from this, one thing is assured. If The Circle continues to come onto my turf, then I will end their very existance!
Ross: Since we've turned to the Circle, I have a few questions regarding their members. Mainly Trace VanReardon & Stephanie Connor! Did you order the attack, and if not who did?
Johnny Storm: (Shakeing his head in frustration) It's unbelievable how many times someone can ask me that question. To everyone else who's gonig to ask that, the answer is still the same....NO! I did not order the attack....and as far as who did it...and do I know. Well, yes. I do. So here and now I'll give Trace VanReardon a clue. It's someone within the CTN power central. You think about it, and then make your assumptions at who you can trust and who you can't. If you still want me after it's all said and done, I'll give you an open invotation to try and beat me down..cause I am not Alek Cage, nor am I Sebastian Bock. Attack me, then I'll get you back even worse! So keep your ass up Connor's skirt, and out of my face!
Ross: What about OutLaw, Shadow Craven, and Rachel Winston? These men were at one time seemingly enemies, yet they came out together to beat down the newly crowned Legion Tag Champions currently in under your tenior, and then steal the belts! What do you think about that, and do you have a plan of action to get them back for you boys?
Johnny Storm: Well you see this week I don't have much time to worry about it, and to be honest that's the last thing on my mind. If Bock & Cage won't their titles back they can get them back themselves. I'm sure they are very capable of takeing out OutLaw & Craven. As far as Winston, she's about as useless as MJ! Pathetic when a woman does'nt know her place. I'm hopeing not to sound like an ass hole, but there are very few women who can survive in this buisness. Stacey Lynn Jordan is one of those women, and I would treat her just like any other opponent in the ring. However when it comes to Rachel Winston....she is nothing more than the little washed up whore who somehow got her claws sunken into the OutLaw's back. Unfortunatly I don't see OutLaw as being all that strong on his own...let alone with her hanging on for dear life. Eventually they will just give up and sink to the bottom of the Talent Pool.
Ross: Those are some pretty strong words Mr. Storm, but I won't disagree with them...that's not my job! Yet I think I've got one more question to ask you. This situation with Sebastian Bock.....is there any chance that this will develop into more than just one match? Is it possiable that our president Steven Fury has already dealt with the Methods of Violence by turning them against each other? Is it possiable that the ego's my not be able to be contained in one group?
Johnny Storm: Well Ross, I mean those questions could be asked of anyone. The thing that makes us Superstars is the fact we have a certain amount of ego. We all have to present that Ego to the world just to survive as the Superstars we've made oursleves. People watch GWA cause they want larger than life characters...the don't want to feel so pathetic themselves, and they wish that they could be us. They want to buy our products to have some sense of us around them when all it does is put more money in our pockets. As far as the MOV is concerned, there are only two choices here. I don't want an ongoing fued. I am content with beating Bock this once, and then moving on. Yet if Sebastian Bock pesists to further the battle, then he will simply become a target, rather than our ally. He will be booted from the MOV, and then we will run right over him. Hopefully he will make the right descision here, and wake up to the fact that this is just another match, and the loss won't be looked upon as badly because of the sheer status of my reputation as an extremist. However within the match...I will be forced to treat Bock just like I would treat Chris Damm......with Destructive Force!
Ross: And you are sure that you will win? Or are you just sure of yourself?
Johnny Storm: The Victory was established as soon as the words left Fury's mouth. As soon as the match was set, Bock was in over his head, and that should be obvious considering he never even thought to see my reaction to the match. When I struck him it was a lesson...one that he will never forget. Never.....NO MATTER IF IT'S YOUR MAMA OR YOUR WORST ENEMY!!! NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON AN ENEMY!!! This is my private war.......this battle that we all must face...I've faced it several times, now Bock...it's your turn!
Ross: War? Explain?
Johnny Storm: To put all of my matches in perspective, to see them in their full meaning....I have to take the match to a higher level. I make it my own personal war from the begining of the match, to the end of the match.....if the results do not suit me, then the war is furthered, it is dragged out untill I do obtain what I consider a suitable ending.
Ross: And is this War finished between you and Chris Damm? Although I think I know the answer to that...
Johnny Storm: I think you know it as well. Damm and I won't be finished untill the Gladiator belt is around my waist. I'm sure Damm will come back with a comment like "Well Storm if that's the case then I guess we'll be at war forever!" How do I know this......cause I've fought the pompous ass hole enough to realize his style. You can't take anything away from him though...he is a phenomenal superstar. Yet in these wars that I create for my opponent, respect is not even a factor. So what else do you have for me Ross?
Ross: Any closeing comments?
Johnny Storm: Well Sebastian it appears that even though this was'nt about you that you have seemed to show up in my thoughts, so let me send this out to you! I have the most Fantastic body, the most Fantastic face, and soon will have GWA gold, around my Fantastic waist! Sebastian Bock...prepare to be Eliminated! Sadly enough Bock though..you've already proven that you can't prepare! It's already to late. You are in the thick of things, in your final moments of existance as a man of greatness. Cause now I take away the things I've given you, and you are reduced to nothing untill I give it back...IF..I give it back. See you once it's over Bock...cause I'm honestly bored with the idea of speaking one more word about your pathetic existance.
**Ross nods to Storm, as he turns the recorder off, and places it into his pocket. After common chit chat on subjects off of wrestling, Ross Bobby exits Storm's room, and heads down the hall. Storm sits there for long moments thinking about his match....wondering how it would all turn out. Would Bock accept his loss with grace, or would he be the spoiled rich brat that Storm had foun. Bock reminded Storm of himself......Storm was without direction for a long time, and his reactions to life were much the same, but now the retrospective results were reversed. He was a man with a mission, whether it be to become Gladiator Champion...every Superstars fantasy, or just laying waist to the worthless drabble that flooded into this fed. Storm was once a worthless whining brat, but now it was changed. It was put into perspective with his sudden change. The Encounter with Chris Damm changed him, and as far as Storm was concerned it was for the better. There was a measure of debt to be paid to Damm, and the best way to say thank you would be to take the belt from his waist. The reason? Because he is the cause of this change. Yet it really isn't a change...more like an awakening. Storm was now awake and could see what he wanted, finally after all this time he had direction, and he was going to use this direction to cause everyone to feel miserable! Why? Because he has the power to do so! Storm smiles wickedly, as he hops up and starts out the door. He walks towards the exit to get back to his car, but before reaching the door, he is met by Griff Truxell.**
Griff: HEY! Where the hell have you been Storm? Did you not hear about the kid being put into the hospital? He's in no condition to wrestle this kind of match! You can't go through with it, you have to just forfeight!
Johnny Storm: (Looks to griff with a smirk) You are Jokeing right? You of all people know I can't do that! I have to make an example out of this prick. He's over run his mouth, and now it's time to take him to the next level. Time to make him a Star beyond his farthest belief. It's time for me to do what his dad was'nt willing to do! Kick his Mother F*cking Ass!
Griff: Johnny did you not just hear what I just said? The kid isn't going to back down..he isn't as intelligent as you are. He does'nt understand what he's walking into! You have to shut this off before it goes farther than either one of you want it too!
Johnny Storm: Griff...It was his choice! He went about this the wrong way, and now he has to pay for it. He now has to go through what everyone else has. He has to step up to the man that made him what he is....I can't believe this is coming from you! When the cops came up to me and you standing next to a burnt down house, in our hands a can full of gas and a hand full of matches, and they still did'nt figure it out! Come on Griff, we both know that kid is going to be just like the house, burnt down in a pile of his own ashes! Now It's time for him to realize who he is, and who he's pissed off! After that, he can take his place, or fall out of the fold all together! It's up to him!
Griff: OK..OK! So where do we go from here...I have a match up against Martinez, and I'm not to worried about it. But what about Cage & Craven? You have to think that there is something behind this match! OutLaw & Craven stole the belts off our boys, and now they all of a sudden are in matches with them! What's going on with that. Has Fury lost his mind completely? Letting Francis actually book these bullshit matches! Allowing these travesties to happen openly...That's why they need us...to deliver them from the womb of mediocrity!
Johnny Storm: I'm not sure what to do about that situation......Francis has always been a moron, but she seems to be showing it more and more everyday. It might be appropriate if I go to CTN's main office and discuss her actions as of late with someone who has true...Power over the faction. Yet stepping into the lions den does'nt seem to appealing....unless of coarse Cathrine Jones is at the end of that corridor...Then it could possiably be stimulating. She has an eye for buisness, and I ..I have an eye for her. Something that seems unattanable, yet...perhaps within my grasp. We'll just have to see.
Griff: (smiling evily) You have a thing for Cathrine Jones?! Ali's blood! That's actually kind of amuseing. A rival in our path of Violence, and the head man is wanting to put the moves on her! HA! You are to much Storm. It's actually amazing that you've gotten as far as you've gotten as many b!tches as you've let in the door!
Johnny Storm: (chukling) Actually you have a point! I don't want to do anything foolish like Fury! Allowing a viper into the field of sheep is not exactly what I need right now. I don't want to worry about it right now though my friend...I've got a match to worry about, so lets get out of here.
**Griff shakes his head at the mention of the match between the two men, as Storm walks past him out the door. Griff then follows behind him. The two chat about other things, other buisness...but Sebastian Bock is not mentioned again. The time for put downs is over, the time for focus is here, and soon enough the time for vicory will be upon us and
Sebastian Bock will end up just like the rest.**
