Gimmick: He carries a black folding chair everywhere he goes with his name painted in red across the seat. He calls it his 'Press Pass', claiming with it he can go anywhere he wants. Outside the ring he can be very jovial, bordering juvenile, while inside the ring he is focused, determined, and more than anything brutal.

::CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY:: 

Preston Jones grew up with his grandparents in a low rent district of Jacksonville, Florida. His mother had been a drug addict in and out of rehab, and at the age of six eventually stopped coming around all together. He never knew his biological father. His grandparents were good people, but they didn't know exactly what to do with the troubled youth. Preston was always a gifted athlete, and played football and basketball in high school, that is, when he wasn't serving community service for one of his many indiscretions. When he turned eighteen he already had a well founded reputation as a trouble maker, was on the verge of being expelled from school, and had caused his grandparents a lot of grief and worry. Feeling as he had no other choices, and no where else to turn, he enlisted with the Army.

Army life taught him a great deal about discipline and what he could physically do if he put his mind to it, although his attitude continued to be a problem. After learning of his grandparent's deaths due to a burglary, he grew even more despondent to authority. After only two years of service he was finally discharged due to misconduct, and returned to Jacksonville to work as a bouncer. One night, at one of the bars he was working for, he ran into an old friend from high school who had taken on the challenge of Professional Wrestling. After chatting, Press joined the training crew at Doug Newenski's gym, a pro in the business who had wrestled all over the world but hadn't really ever gotten over.

Press, much like with the other sports, took to wrestling easily. It wasn't long before he was working matches in several different indies in Florida and Georgia. Before long he ran into a few guys who had recently left one of the national circuits, and they made a call on his behalf. The next week he was on TCWF television. Up to this point he had always been a singles wrestler, but he wasn't faring too well. After several stints in different developmental shows, the head booker for TCWF finally decided that perhaps he should be paired up with someone, and introduced the big man to a young guy by the name of Flaming Youth.

The two had a lot in common and hit it off smoothly, and decided to form the tag team "The Bombtrax". They dominated many tag divisions in many different companies, but in 2000 the team took a tough hit thanks to the efforts of their employer at the time, "Mr. Fantastic" Johnny Storm. For several years they fell off the face of the earth, only being seen here and there, but when they finally made their return to the squared circle in 2004, they were a well rounded, polished tag team. They made a huge grab for success in SIN Wrestling, and remained dominant until disappearing once again in 2005 to the independent circuits.

Press was always seen as the defacto leader of the group due to his experience and style. Somewhere along the way he garnered a code of honor, and tailored his responses to events with a more measured approach. Despite leaving his troubling youth behind, he is still regarded as surly, and has an almost latent disregard for institutional like authority. Many speculate that this might have a lot to do with the four year period when The Bombtrax had all but disappeared in the early 2000's. Either way, he is a force to be reckoned with, and much cagier than most have ever given him credit for.

::ENTRANCE::

Entrance Music: "Strangle Hold" by Ted Nugent

Entrance Description: [The lights go dim as "Strangle Hold" begins to blare across the arena. Red strobe-lights begin to flicker all around the ring and ramp way, and finally settle on the entry way where the silhouette of the massive Press can be seen standing in the curtain. These words can be seen clearly up on the four small screens.]

[At the chorus of the song he bursts through the curtain, and thrusts his black chair with the words "Press Pass" high up into the air with a grimace spread across his face. He scans the crowd as he stalks down towards the ring, followed by Flaming Youth who wears a confident grin. Press reaches the ring and throws his chair in under the bottom rope, hops up on the apron, and enters the ring by swinging his leg up and over the top rope. He knocks his head to the left & right to get out the kinks, and then throws his fists high into the air all the while letting out an animalistic growl. The crowd goes wild as he stalks over to the corner, and nonchalantly leans into it awaiting for the start of the match.]

:: FIGHTING STYLE ::

Specialty Match: No disqualification/Hardcore

Strengths: Despite his obvious brawn/bulk, he is also intelligent. He's not going to go out of his way to take a risk that isn't worth taking. He knows what he brings to the dance, and usually leads with it. His size isn't just for dolling out punishment, but he is also able to absorb a great deal as well.

Weaknesses: He is deceptively quick for his size, but in most situations speed is going to be a disadvantage. Stamina will obviously play into this as well. He's not here to outlast an opponent, but to drop them with a few quick shots. Also, despite being willing to get dirty if the need arises, Press has a certain sense of nobility, and will refrain from cheating. This sense of right and wrong sometimes creates situations that he never intended to cultivate.

Common Strategies: Press isn’t going to get technical with anyone, and he isn’t going to try and out wrestle them. Sudden Force Trauma is the name of his game, which requires someone to get close enough to him for this strategy to be effective. He’s even been known to let someone else gain the opening momentum, absorbing the punishment, just in order to lull them into a false sense of control in order to take them by surprise. After all, you can take a few pebbles when you’re lobbing bricks.

Notable Physical Features: Press has straight medium-length Auburn hair, and a well kept goatee. Due to his size he is a mass inside the ring, with broad shoulders, a wide chest, and tree trunk like legs.
