"he's back...He's Back....HE'S BACK!"
The scene opens to Rex Rumble as he paces back and forth in his basement hideout, posters on the wall of multiple former legends of the business. Names like Terry Hero, Kris Angel, Johnny Storm, Chris Damm, and one with a much fresher face from today's times....Zachariah Krahe. Rex comes to a pause under the Krahe poster and looks at it longingly before snapping his head away in what might be shame, maybe guilt? He looks up to see that the red light on the camcorder he's using is blinking, and he clears his throat before pacing again. He stops dead in his tracks and points violently at the camera lens, wild eyes twitching as he begins to speak.
"It's true, man....all of it! Yeah! I haven't been the same man, no, no, no.....Not the same at all, Yeah! Krahe came into my life at a time that I needed a hero, he was going to be the champion we all looked up to...the man we all aspired to be, Yeah! HE WAS GOING TO BE THE SAVIOR FOR ALL THE FREAKS, YEAH!"
Spittle streams from Rex's lips to the camera, and his eyes dash around like loose marbles before finally bending down out of frame to snatch something up and then rushing up to the camera like a horror film jump gag only to cover the screen with a while cloth and polishing before letting it fall again. The view now has a perfect close up of only his nose and his bearded mouth as he starts to scale into another low rumbling rant.
"But then he left. CUT OUT! And the rest of us who looked up to him fell by the wayside, Yeah! That guy....the one with two names...Can't trust him, yeah...NEVER TRUST HIM! I thought I was ready, thought I'd make it right. If I could just win, then he'd see it. Know that me and all the other misfits were doing just fine without him, Yeah. But that didn't happen did it, Yeah? NO! DOWN ON MY BACK, LOOKING AT THE LIGHTS, LIKE A CHUMP!"
The noise on the camcorder has the last screaming bit a warbled mess, but Rex backs off now to stare at the wall of posters in front of him. His eyes shoot back and forth as if they have a mind of their own, schizophrenic while the rest of him remains standing still. They falter on Krahe once more, and he begins to slowly nod as the gears start turning.
"But no more. He's back, Yeah!"
Rex turns back towards the camera now, but this time he's smiling while rubbing his hands in front of him, his thick arms flexing to reveal his chiseled frame.
"And now you're going to see what a restored Rex Rumble is capable of doing, yeah. You're going to see me climb to the mountain top, yeah. UnYielding Championship, Yeah! 7 Pillars Gauntlet Match, YEAH! Insurmountable odds at an undetermined time in a clandestine meeting, Yeah! That's what you have waiting for you Kaven Drell, cause when we meet in that ring, yeah, I'm going to take back the movement you've started. I'm going to point them in the right direction, yeah. Right at the man that will walk us into the next era, Yeah!"
Rex leaps over to the poster of Krahe and rips it down off the wall in a single motion, then leaps back over to the camera and holds it up so that Krahe's bearded face is staring straight into the screen.
"See Drell! This is the kind of champion the world needs, not some insane asshat with an agenda for causing drama, yeah! What you and Rizzo did to Katya, all that dark talk you spout about embracing the change, It's not the right kind of change, brother! No, no, no, you see...Krahe might have done some questionable things, but he got out before the drama consumed him, and now that he's back...he'll be looking to set right all that drama that was brought forth from before! And me...well me, I'm ready to help him do just that! Yeah! I'm ready to fight the good fight again, Yeah! I'm going to send the emo kids back to the Mellinia, and reclaim the glory days of yesteryear! YEAH!"
The poster of Krahe falls to the wayside as Rex steps in to replace it once again with his monomaniacal eyes.
"I am the Unkempt Hero, Kaven Drell, and everyone knows that's exactly what Valor Pro Wrestling needs in the path of your movement, yeah. Cause I have been touched by the Catalyst, and just like his name bares, it has started something in me like a FIRE! YEAH! And we come face to face Saturday in Canada, I am going to bring you a whole heaping mound of trouble and wreck any plans you might have of advancing to the next stage of this program, CAUSE MY MAN IS BACK, AND THE CLOCK IS TICKING! OHHHH SNAAAPPP!!"
Rex slaps out at the camera knocking it from it's frame as he commences to howl at the moon like a madman just before the scene fades to black.
