Gimmick: Pure and simple, James is a redneck. He'll call out a good 'Yeehaw' before going for a running move, and usually has the crowds support because of his good looks and southern charm. He's definitely the guy slapping hands on his way down to the ring. He really enjoys having a good time in the ring, sometimes at his opponents expense. At times he can become very stubborn and hot headed, and though he won't outright cheat, he will fight fire with fire. (Ex. Jerry Lawler in the Memphis Territories.)

[Just as the song hits it's chorus two spotlights converge on the stage as James Radford saunters out from behind the curtain wearing black boots, leather pants, vest, and a black stetson hat.  He pauses at the top of the stage to stare out at the crowd with his hand cupped over his eyes, and he gives the camera a tip of the hat followed by a wink just before making his way down the ramp.  He slaps a few hands as he passes by while the camera swings around to follow behind him, focusing in on the confederate flag sewn into his vest.  He hops up onto the apron upon reaching ringside and holds the top of his hat before swinging himself into the ring. He shimmies out of his vest as the chorus of the song comes across the PA, and gives everyone a charming southern grin as he tosses it along with his hat to the ring attendant.  James then begins stretching out on the ropes.]

Gimmick: Jimmy is mouthy, obnoxious, and arrogant, but his one redeeming quality is that he does care about his clients. So much so, that he will do whatever it takes to make sure that their careers advance, and has no problem telling you what he thinks you should think about them. Always wearing a colorful suit and tie, he draws attention even further by carrying a bullhorn with him everywhere he goes, screaming through it until he's red in the face and unintelligible. Has no problem interfering in a match despite James' objections.

Biography: Raised in Jackson, Mississippi, James is as country as they come. He loves his redneck way of life, and doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks about it. He's not playing a character, he's pretty much just being himself. Most find him ruggedly handsome. James has spent most of his time on the independent circuit, but was noticed by a PAW talent scouts, and signed as an Enhancement Talent. Just as PAW closed, James was introduced to Bobby Benson, who has now taken on the role of Road Agent/Manager for all of Radford's affairs. Using his connections, Bobby was able to get him a tentative trial contract at Alpha Wrestling Empire. After a fairly successful run, only taking one loss in his singles career at AWE, the feds sudden closing left James in a difficult spot.  Troubles at home led him to a life away from the road until a sudden visit from Benson, who he had become estranged from, led to his application with Union Battleground.
