Gimmick: Manipulator.  Charlatan.  Mystic.  Wizard.  Supernatural.  Many things could be used to describe this dark and evil character that appears straight out of a Neil Gaiman novel, but the only consistent description is spooky.  It's obvious upon being around him that he is either exactly what he says he is, which is a specter from the other side, or he has one hell of an FX guy.

::CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY::

Redemption frist appeared in the Total Carnage Wrestling Federation on a vendetta trip against "Mr. Fantastic" Johnny Storm. Soon after being attacked by Britney Spears...Redemption would take his sites off of Storm, and put them on her and everyone else...claiming to leave the best for last. He caused so much havoc in the fed, that it actually closed, and he took it upon himself to be the reason. He proclaimed that he would come back to destroy Storm....which he did...but first he took some of the people he had attacked, and rebuilt them psychologically.

Press, Flaming Youth, and Tammy Lynn were his first victims. They had been followers of Storm, but were abandoned on one of Storm's power trips. Redemption scooped up the pieces with a short lived feud with Press, ending when all three, Press, Youth, and Tammy were put in the Redeemer. After that moment the three changed. They became more Gothic...almost to the point of Demonic. They seemed to have special powers.....powers that were not there before.  Redemption renamed them the BombTrax, claiming that they would lay the foundation for his pathway of destruction.

Redemption then took two other members, Michael Kole and Bob Camron, who was a cameraman in the TCWF. He renamed them as well, Oracle and Revelation, stating he needed them to chronicle his works.  The Frayed Ends of Sanity were formed, and they made their trek to SWA in pursuit of Storm!  There they destroyed the top name talents, always making time to continue their obsession with Johnny Storm.  The attacks came more frequently, chipping away at 'Mr. Fantastic', until finally Storm had had enough, and retired from wrestling altogether.  

From there, Redemption and his Frayed Ends of Sanity disappeared from the wrestling business, never to be seen again.  Johnny Storm eventually returned to the sport, entering the GWA, and although there was no sign of Redemption, his effects on the man who would later be known as 'The Gladiator God' could not be denied.

::ENTRANCE::

Entrance Music: 'The Call of Ktula' by Metallica

Entrance Description: (The lights in the arena go completely dark, leaving everyone to cower in the pitch.  The rhythmic match of 'The Call of Ktula' by Metallica begins to feel the darkness, and as the song reaches it's first breakdown, red lights flash down on the rampway, followed by a lightening bolt.  There in the midst of the smoke and wreckage stands Redemption, his dark cloak billowing around his massive frame.  His eyes peer out at the audience, who neither cheer or boo, but fall into hushed murmurs at the unholy sight.  He smiles ever so slightly, before making his way methodically down to ringside, the smoke lazily trailing behind him as he goes.  Upon reaching the end of the ramp, he slowly turns towards the steel steps, and takes them one at a time, each movement giving one the sense that he rushes for no one.  Once one the ring apron, he steps through the ropes, and comes to the center of the ring, where he bows his head in silence.  When he finally looks up, his eyes glow eerily, and he thrusts his hands into the air causing fire to erupt from the turnbuckle posts.  When the flames die, the lights return to normal throughout the arena, and Redemption has discarded his cloak, and stands ready to meet whatever he may face.)

Specialty Match: Hell In A Cell

Strengths: Redemption towers over most, and his power doesn't just come from his size, but almost seems to stem from some unnatural force.  He's deceptively swift his size, and has been known to take flight under the right circumstances. 

Weaknesses: At the end of the day, while in this guise, he is mortal.  Wear him down, and he will fatigue like anyone else.  Nail him with a chair, he'll bleed, despite his claims at immortality.  His inability to recognize this is probably his greatest weakness.

Description: Redemption sets his opponent up on the top rope, and climbs up there with him hooking him around the head like a suplex. He then lifts up holding the person up for several seconds before dropping backwards and straight down for a massive off the top rope Brain Buster!

:: PHYSICAL OVERVIEW :: 

Redemption comes to the ring wearing black leather pants, boots, fingerless gloves, and vest.  On his way to the ring he wears a black cloak with a hood that appears to be made of satin, or some other shiny material.  Sometimes the hood is up, sometimes it's down, all depending on his mood.
